We seek a visionary Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to provide overall direction for our clinical services and reverse the impact of historical injustices on people of color and others with diverse backgrounds and/or socio-economic disadvantages.
The CCO oversees each clinical department and is responsible for developing a comprehensive approach to clinical care at OCHC. This is a unique opportunity to craft a vision for the future, grow OCHC, and improve the health of our patients and community. Ideally, the CCO would be a physician board-certified in family or internal medicine, although other primary medical providers and levels of leadership may be considered. The role would be about 25% administrative and 75% clinical.
OCHC offers a $10,000 signing bonus, a competitive salary, and a robust benefits package. Loan repayment through the National Health Service Corp is likely.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care for all clinical disciplines (medical, dental, mental health, eye health, and chiropractic care).
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices.
• Determine strategies and methods to address historical injustices in providing care to communities of color and other people with diverse backgrounds and/or socio-economic disadvantages.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in clinical care.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, administration, and external stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices to drive organizational growth and success.

Qualifications:
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school; board certification in family practice or internal medicine preferred.

Location and hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site three days per week located at 2220 Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55411, and remote two days per week. In this position, you will:
Conduct diagnostic assessments, engage in treatment planning, and provide individual and group psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Complete psychological assessments with children, adolescents, adults, and families. This will include administration/interpretation of intelligence tests, achievement tests, adaptive behavior measures, and behavioral rating assessments.
Provide consultation and training to staff; take part in client-related meetings with staff or other providers and professionals.
Provide general case management; prepare reports, case records, correspond clinically, and bill for services.
Need to have:
A doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program with appropriate clinical training and one or more years of post-doctoral experience as a clinical psychologist in a medical or mental health setting.

We serve patients from a variety of cultures who come to us as their preferred community clinic, so staff who are culturally competent are essential to our care team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare patients for provider office visit, greet and escort patients to the exam room
Assure smooth patient flow by prioritizing the following: rooming patients; taking appropriate patient histories, setting up room for anticipated procedures; sterilizing used instruments, anticipating provider’s needs; assisting providers during exams and procedures, and returning patient calls in a timely manner.

Neighborhood HealthSource (NHS) seeks a primary care physician to work full-time (32 hours/week) to provide the full scope of family medicine: health maintenance, acute episodic care, long-term care of chronic illness, and patient education. The Provider will practice primarily at Central Clinic in NE Minneapolis. The ideal candidate has excellent primary care medicine skills with all ages and experience/interest in working in a community-based setting.
Group History& Description
NHS is a Federally Qualified Health Center that has provided basic health care to low-income and uninsured people in North and Northeast Minneapolis for over 50 years. At our four clinic sites located in the neighborhoods of North & Northeast Minneapolis and Coon Rapids, MN, we serve about 8,000 people yearly making 20,000 clinic visits. NHS offers a friendly, diverse work environment.
Clinic Hours
We are open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with extended hours until 7 or 8 pm on a weekly basis coming shortly.
Geographic and Patient Community
North and Northeast Minneapolis are culturally diverse neighborhoods with a concentration of low-income and uninsured individuals. Many of our patients are African-American, Latino and other minorities, including immigrants from Southeast Asia and east and west Africa. We use language interpreters and offer a sliding fee scale for our uninsured patients to ensure access to health care services. Our Minneapolis clinics are located on bus lines and with easy access to I-94 and 35W. Our Coon Rapids location serves many pediatric patients but also sees the full range of patients and backgrounds.
Provider Schedules
For full-time providers, the work week is based on four days, with eight hours per day of scheduled patient time. There is no inpatient practice. Office call is shared and limited in scope.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is competitive with other local community health centers and is negotiable depending upon qualifications. We offer a generous benefit package, including health and dental, malpractice, disability and life insurance. We also offer FSA and 403-B retirement plans as well as supplemental life insurance. NHS provides some reimbursement for continuing education, professional fees and memberships and recertification. Paid time off (including vacation and personal time) begins at four weeks for full-time staff.
Federal Loan Repayment
All NHS Clinics are National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program eligible sites. Our HPSA (Shortage Area Designations) meet the federal score threshold for maximum loan repayment.
