MNACHC Request for Proposals

Optimizing FQHC Medicaid Reimbursement

The Minnesota Association of Community Health Centers (MNACHC) seeks a partner to assist federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) operating in Minnesota to accurately and comprehensively report data to the state Medicaid agency that calculates each FQHC’s Medicaid payment rate. This includes but is not limited to assessing each FQHC’s Medicare Cost Report, understanding the role of the Medicare Cost Report in Medicaid payment policy, and developing tools to assist FQHCs in assessing the financial impact of programming changes (e.g., changes in scope of services).

Evaluation and Strategic Planning for Workforce Program

The Minnesota Association of Community Health Centers (MNACHC) is seeking a partner to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of our Workforce Apprenticeship Program. This program currently trains people to become new medical and dental assistants via a 12-month program via an apprenticeship model offering employment and on-the-job training at Minnesota Federally Qualified Health Centers. The evaluation we are seeking aims to assess the current state of the program, identify areas for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations for future growth and enhancement.

Coding and Documentation Audit and Education

The Minnesota Association of Community Health Centers (MNACHC) is seeking a coding and documentation auditing and education partner to provide health center specific training and technical assistance to the staff of our 17 member health centers. Health centers are in need of coding and documentation improvement support to improve risk management, optimize reimbursement, reduce denied claims, and improve their ability to participate in value-based care arrangements.
