MNACHC welcomes Dr. John Pearson as the new CEO of Open Cities Health Center in St. Paul.

Dr. Pearson comes to OCHC with FQHC experience in Florida and New Mexico.

Before that, Dr. Pearson served in the US Army for over 25 years in assignments and combat deployments worldwide as a medical evacuation pilot and operations officer.

His military executive healthcare roles include serving as the Executive Officer at the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence, Chief Operating Officer for the US European Command Surgeon’s Office, and Vice President of Operations at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Pearson is a South Carolina native and received his bachelor’s in Psychology from The Citadel, a master’s degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University, and a doctorate in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
