Advocacy Alert: Support Health Center Funding!

With less than two weeks until the second "leg" of the current continuing resolution to fund the government expires, health centers' funding is in jeopardy. The next couple of days are crucial to our advocacy efforts. Please contact your members of Congress using phone and email scripts from the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC).

Little time remains to avoid a government shutdown, and many insiders say the changes of a shutdown are real. Health centers should review this document to revisit how a shutdown could affect health center operations. Another continuing resolution could avoid a shutdown, but health center advocates should press for long-term funding so health centers can best serve their patients.
