Open Door to open school clinic

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Last week, the Fairmont school board approved a partnership between the school district and Open Door Health Center in Mankato.

The partnership will open a clinic within the school district, solely for the care of students.

“Both the areas of health, both cognitive therapy and dental health, and we’ve seen a real need for those spaces in our community and our kids and we’re excited to begin those discussions and start brainstorming ideas to best serve our community,” said Andy Traetow.

The idea has been worked on for over a year, and now they have the go-ahead to install the clinic.
