Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for providing medical treatment in the Native American Community Clinic (NACC) within the scope of their specialty.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive healthcare for patients of NACC

  • Actively participates in medical program planning

  • Assumes on-call duties as required

  • Maintains a good working relationship with colleagues, staff, and community partners of NACC

  • Abides by clinical protocols, policies, and procedures

  • Complies with productivity goals of the medical clinic

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required

  • Licensed as an RN and APRN by the board of nursing and certified by a national nurse certification organization acceptable to the board to practice as a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)

  • Proof of COVID 19 Vaccination or willingness to receive

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

  • Frequently required to walk

  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl

  • Frequently required to talk or hear

  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

  • Frequently required to lift or move 10lbs and occasionally 25lbs

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
