Erica began working for MNACHC in 2020. Erica comes to us with a Masters in Public Health in Community Health Promotion from the University of Minnesota. She is originally from Arizona where she received her BS in Public Health from the University of Arizona. There, she started her work with underserved communities and has been doing similar work in the Twin Cities while in school for the past two years. She spent most of her graduate career as the Program Coordinator for the UMN’s Community Health Initiative where she worked to connect graduate students to local health nonprofits to complete projects that would benefit both. She has a passion for health equity and addressing health disparities in traditionally underserved communities.
The Workforce Specialist is a new position at MNACHC that will provide training and technical assistance to health center staff, work to increase the visibility of health centers in the job market, and assist in building health professions training and education programs within the health centers.
