Monet joined MNACHC in October 2017 as the Quality Improvement Specialist. Prior to her position at MNACHC Monet was a Public Health Advisor with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and was stationed at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. In this role she supported statewide planning and health improvement efforts, public health accreditation, and provided technical assistance to the local health departments. Monet also brings FQHC experience through previous work as a health educator at The Institute for Family Health in New York. In this work, Monet participated in direct patient care, clinical quality improvement initiatives, and national accreditation efforts to enhance patient care and outcomes. As the Quality Improvement & Training Specialist at MNACHC she supports the quality improvement needs of community health centers by providing trainings, offering technical assistance, and collaborating with other organizations to optimize clinical practice and improve quality performance measurement. She also leads planning efforts for the annual Many Faces of Community Health Conference that MNACHC hosts with the Minnesota Department of Health. Monet holds a BA in International Studies & Global Health from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing at St. Catherine University.
