Celebrate the Power of Rural Health

National Rural Health Day is celebrated on the third Thursday of November every year. This day highlights the selfless, community-minded, “can do” spirit of community health centers that serve underserved, rural communities in Minnesota. Minnesota Health Centers address rural communities with unique healthcare needs such as accessibility and bandwidth issues, a lack of healthcare providers, the needs of an aging population suffering from a greater number of chronic conditions, and larger percentages of un- and underinsured citizens.
