Public Policy
Legislative advocacy begins at the grass-roots level. In order to ensure our voice is heard, MNACHC maintains an advocacy network of community health center staff, board members, patients and other supporters to reach our elected officials.

Become a MNACHC Advocate
In order to effectively advocate for our health centers and patients, MNACHC Advocates need the tools at their disposal to interact with members of the Minnesota Legislature and Minnesota’s representatives in the US Congress.
By signing up as an MNACHC Advocate, you will:
- Receive “Action Alerts” that help you contact your elected officials on issues that affect Minnesota’s CHCs;
- Receive “MNACHC’s e-Update” and “MNACHC’s Legislative Update” via e-mail throughout the year;
- Access to MNACHC’s VOTER VOICE system that enables Advocates to participate in e-Advocacy.
